Is there something wrong with duels?

Every time I go to duel, it hangs forever at "posting match request." I've been trying for 4 days now, so I'm wondering if it's a case that the duels are not working (maybe just for me), or if its a case that there's just nobody to play with.

--In an update I'd suggest someway of seeing the number of players online.  Or even have bots available when there aren't any people (this way it gives the illusion of a community until one develops).

I finished setting up my OpenFeint account (giving it a picture), and now I'm able to play.
